William Married Mary Avis in the September Quarter of 1845 in the Williton registration district ref 10/771 at Clatworthy in 1845. William was of Stogumber and a labourer probably employed by Charles Boucher a farmer of 280 Acres at Greenway Farm, Langley Marsh.

William and John were baptised at Stogumber. The others were baptised at Wiveliscombe.
