A deep feeling of regret, not confined to class or creed, was expressed on monday last when the news become generally known the Mr. Andrew Webber hosegood hasd passed away at his residence in Long-street. Mr. A.W. hosegood, who was the eldest son of the late Mr Thomas hosegood, of Aller, and of Mrs. hosegood, who now resides af Tower Hill, had not been blessed with good health for some years, the winter months often giving his friends cause for anxiety. Though so severely handicapped, his spirits were always bright, and high courage at all times characterised by him. The last illness, through which he was nursed with devoted attention by Mrs. hosegood, lasted about six weeks. he was 46 years of age.
Mr. Hosegood was widely known throughout the West-Country in his profession as a land agent and surveyor. Formerly in partnership with Mr. T. H. Andrew, on the latter's departure from the district in 1919, Mr. Hosegood carried on the business alone.
